Historic Camp John Sevier, South Carolina

People familiar with the Greenville, South Carolina, area may know of Camp Sevier or like a friend of mine from Greenville perhaps you've seen the freeway signs for Camp Sevier. I recently discovered some interesting panoramic photographs taken in 1918. They are in the Library of Congress collection, "Taking the Long View: Panoramic Photographs, 1851-1991"
The US Army trained Cavalry, Artillery, Engineer and Infantry Companies at the tent city called Camp Sevier. Thousands of men went through Camp Sevier on their way to fight in Europe during World War I.
You can see the collection for yourself at: "Taking the Long View: Panoramic Photographs, 1851-1991"
